Renault-Samsung has released new information about the SM7.
Designed to deliver the "ultimate motoring experience," the flagship was developed over the course of 32 months at a cost of nearly 400 billion won (€270 million). The end result is a reasonably attractive model that features a prominent grille, swoopy styling and distinctive tail lights.
Inside, the cabin boasts class-leading interior room as well as "aviation" headrests and an optimized HVAC system. Other highlights include wood trim, metallic accents and an infotainment system with GPS navigation.
As we predicted, two Nissan-sourced engines are available. The entry-level 2.5-liter produces 190 hp (142 kW / 193 PS) and 243 Nm (179 lb-ft) of torque, while the 3.5-liter V6 develops 258 hp (192 kW / 262 PS) and 330 Nm (243 lb-ft) of torque.
The SM7 will be launched in South Korea later this month and pricing starts at 30 million won (€19,725).
