Cummins has announced the introduction of a unique Mini at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The car features a massive 78-liter V18 QSK78 diesel engine, with 12 turbochargers, that produces 3,500 bhp (2,610 kW / 3,549 PS) and 14,000 Nm (10,324 lb-ft) of torque. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to work.
According to Steve Nendick, Cummins' Communications Director for Europe, Middle East, Africa and CIS, "We never like to let a challenge go by unanswered so we got to thinking maybe we could fit the QSK78 into an original Austin Mini. It proved to be a bit tricky to fit under the bonnet but our engineers came up with a more creative solution."
