As 2017 comes to a close, automakers are once again hoping to find their names at the top of the sales chart. A whopping 17.2 million vehicles were sold in the U.S. in 2017, and among the best sellers were pickup trucks and crossovers, naturally, with a few sedans thrown in for good measure.
