More now than ever, compact crossovers are hugely popular with the car buying masses. The Ford Escape isn’t a newcomer to the segment – it’s been around for 16 years, and is currently mid-way through its third generation. And with a number of small enhancements for the 2017 model year, Ford’s trusty Escape is better than ever.

These mid-cycle enhancements don’t shake up the Escape formula, but instead improve key things like comfort, convenience factors, technology, and overall style. The end result is a crossover that sits at the top of its class – there’s a lot to like about this restyled Ford.
