Fifteen years ago, Bugatti collaborated with Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin to create a unique Veyron Grand Sport, distinguished by its use of porcelain. This partnership has been revived with the latest collaboration, resulting in the Bugatti W16 Mistral Blanc Éternel. This one-off vehicle is part of Bugatti’s Sur Mesure personalization program and celebrates not only the Mistral but also the discontinuation of Bugatti’s iconic W16 engine.
The W16 Mistral Blanc Éternel is adorned with porcelain both inside and out, featuring on the EB emblems, fuel cap, and engine inlays externally, and on the gear shifter, speaker covers, and armrests internally. A notable design element is the car’s white body with black outlines, a motif that Bugatti designers have mirrored inside, giving the vehicle an animated movie-like appearance.
This Mistral marks the end of an era for Bugatti, as it is the last model to feature the legendary quad-turbocharged 8.0-liter W16 engine. The successor to this engine is the 8.3-liter naturally aspirated V16, which powers the Tourbillon, a hybrid model equipped with three electric motors.
