The Sport Edition Package for the Nissan Frontier SV enhances the truck’s off-road capabilities with features like an aluminum skid plate, 17-inch off-road style wheels with Hankook Dynapro all-terrain tires, LED fog lights, and front accent lighting. The package also includes distinctive yellow-accented “Sport” graphics on the bedside, a black grille, mirrors, and tailgate badge, along with yellow contrast stitching on the black interior elements, including seats, grab handles, dash, seatback embroidery, and shift lever.

The Frontier maintains its naturally aspirated 3.8-liter V6 engine, producing 310 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. This engine setup offers a traditional truck driving experience without the complexities of hybrid or turbocharged systems, and it can tow up to 7,150 pounds. The 2027 model year sees modest updates, including a new exterior color, Alpine Metallic, and an upgrade to Qi2 wireless charging in the Pro Convenience Package.

For 2027, the Nissan Frontier will be available in four trims: S, SV, Pro-X, and Pro-4X, with the King Cab exclusive to the S trim and the Crew Cab available across all trims. The Dark Armor and Pro-4X R packages will also return. Pricing details for the 2027 Frontier and the Sport Edition Package will be announced before the trucks arrive at dealerships this summer. The 2026 Frontier King Cab S starts at $33,895, while the 2026 Frontier Crew Cab Pro-4X Long Bed is priced at $44,115.
