Mercedes-Benz is set to launch the electric C-Class soon, with the automaker providing a sneak peek at its high-tech interior ahead of the full reveal. The electric C-Class will offer two display options: the MBUX Hyperscreen, a single, continuous display from pillar to pillar, and the MBUX Superscreen, which consists of three separate screens under a seamless glass surface.
The interior of the electric C-Class closely resembles that of the GLC, featuring new seats, a star-covered Sky Control panoramic roof, and a vegan interior package. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with a newly developed automatic climate control system, which Mercedes claims can heat the interior twice as quickly as traditional combustion-powered models.
The complete reveal of the new electric C-Class is scheduled for Monday, April 20, in South Korea, where Mercedes will also disclose the powertrain details and other specifications. The event will be available for viewing online.
