Opel-Vauxhall 2025: All the upcoming models
Debuting are the new Frontera and Grandland. The Mokka also gets a major mid-career makeover
Opel-Vauxhall's range is being renewed. In 2025 we will see two new models and a major update. We are talking about the arrival of the Frontera and the new Grandland, while the Mokka will undergo an initial restyling.
These three Opel-Vauxhalls share a lot, at least as a philosophy. All three, in fact, are available both as mild hybrids and as 100 per cent electric variants.
Opel-Vauxhall Frontera
Vauxhall Frontera (2024)
The successor to the Crossland is an almost 4.4-metre crossover with a name that recalls the historic off-roader sold for two generations until the early '00s. The Frontera has boxy lines and a minimalist interior, but the equipment is comprehensive and the powertrains are mild hybrid and fully electric.
The mild hybrid petrol versions have a 1.2-litre three-cylinder with 100 and 136 PS (and can be ordered with seven seats), while the electrics have 113 PS and a 44 kWh battery allowing around 186 miles of range. A 'Long Range' version with a larger battery and a range of around 250 miles will arrive in 2025.

Opel-Vauxhall Grandland
Opel Grandland (2024)
The new Opel-Vauxhall Grandland completely evolves from its predecessor, growing in all dimensions: 4.65 metres in length (+15 cm), a 2.8 metre wheelbase, a width of 1.90 metres and a height increased to 1.66 metres. These proportions, straddling the C and D segments, guarantee a more spacious interior and a design optimised for comfort.
Inside we find the Pure Panel, a dual 10-inch digital screen for the instrument cluster and 10-inch or 16-inch screens for infotainment. The system is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless, offers OTA updates and includes an advanced voice assistant.
Comfort on the Opel-Vauxhall is provided by the AGR seats, now enhanced with Intelli Seat technology that relieves pressure on the coccyx. The split-folding rear seats (40/20/40) expand the luggage compartment to a maximum volume of 1,600 litres.
Based on the STLA Medium platform, the Grandland features 100 per cent electric engines with batteries between 73 and 98 kWh and power outputs of 213 PS, 231 PS and 326 PS, with a range of up to 435 miles.
Also in the range are mild hybrid petrol versions with 136 PS and plug-in hybrids with 195 PS.

Opel-Vauxhall Mokka restyling
Vauxhall Mokka facelift (2025)
Minimal cosmetic touches and some new equipment for the Mokka. The main changes include new LED lights and an updated digital instrumentation, with the infotainment system integrating ChatGPT artificial intelligence. Also new are some mouldings and the shape of the steering wheel, which echoes the look of the latest models in the Lightning range.
There is nothing new about the engines: the Mokka can still be bought in the 136 PS mild hybrid and 156 PS 100 per cent electric variants, with the latter providing around 250 miles of range.
