Electric Peugeot E-408 arrives in the UK starting at £42,175
Every Peugeot model in the UK can now be had with an electric powertrain.
Peugeot has officially gone all-in on electric. The French automaker has just announced that every single model in its UK lineup now has an all-electric variant, marking a major milestone with the unveiling of the shiny new E-408. The electric fastback is here to turn heads, save the planet, and maybe even make your petrol-guzzling neighbour a tad jealous.
The E-408 doesn’t just look good – it’s packing serious juice under the bonnet. With a 58 kWh usable battery and a 215 PS motor, this zippy EV offers an impressive 281-mile range, provided you’re not flooring it every chance you get.

And if you’re into instant gratification, the E-408’s 345 Nm of torque means you’ll feel the pull of all that electric power the moment you hit the accelerator. Smooth, quiet, and efficient, the E-408 might just be your ticket to guilt-free joyrides.
Need to top up on juice? The E-408 has your back with 120 kW DC rapid charging capabilities, which isn’t class-leading, but gets you from 20 per cent to 80 per cent in just over 30 minutes. In a rush? A quick 10-minute charge adds 62 miles to the battery.
Inside, the E-408 is a playground of digital delights. Standard features include the slick i-Cockpit, featuring not one, but two 10-inch screens. Need shortcuts? The customisable i-Toggles let you swipe and tap your way to automotive bliss. And if you like yelling at your car (or politely commanding it), the “OK Peugeot” voice assistant is ready to listen – no attitude included.
Just like the combustion-powered 408, the electric one also comes in two trim levels in the UK – Allure and GT. Prices start at £42,175 for the base grade, while the range-topper kicks off at £44,945. The order books are already open with first deliveries expected from the summer of 2025.
