Bose and Infiniti have teamed up to create a special edition Q50.
Dubbed the Q50 Sound Studio by Bose, the special edition features a 14-speaker Bose audio system, a DAB receiver and GPS navigation. The model will also become the first car to feature Bose’s Advanced Staging Technology which promises to create the "impression of a concert hall’s wide ‘sound stage’ for a captivating ‘front row seat’ listening experience."
The car will also have Bose's AudioPilot2 Noise Compensation Technology which constantly monitors and adjusts music levels to compensate for vehicle speed and the effects of unwanted sound intrusions.
Under the hood, two engines will be available. The turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol produces 211 PS (155 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque while the 2.2-liter four-cylinder diesel develops 170 PS (125 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque.
The special edition will debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show before going on sale in October with prices starting at £32,390.
