Hot Maserati Levante Trofeo tops out at £159,900
If that's a bit much, the GTS is available from £104,900.
Maserati's Levante SUV in hot Trofeo and GTS trim will arrive on UK soil this autumn, following their unveiling earlier this year.
The range-topping Trofeo is one of the fastest SUVs ever built, with a top speed of 186 mph, despite being a big, high-riding car. That's because power comes from a 3.8-litre, Ferrari-derived V8 engine which puts out 580 bhp.
The Trofeo also comes with Maserati’s Integrated Vehicle Control System (IVC) along with a new 'Corsa' (Race) driving mode with Launch Control functionality – the perfect toy for the school run or a drive around Chelsea.
Setting the Trofeo apart from 'regular' Levantes is a new aluminium bonnet with dual vents, 21-inch forged aluminium wheels, a carbon fibre front splitter, front grille blades, side skirts and rear valance, and Trofeo badging.
A Launch Edition of the Trofeo is being produced, limited to just 50 units across Europe, which is available in a choice of three colours – Blu Emozione matte, Giallo Modenese and Rosso Magma while the interior featuring natural 'Pieno Fiore' leather sport seats is available in black with red, blue or yellow contrast stitching. The blue or yellow stitching is exclusive to the Launch Edition, which also features the new matte carbon fibre weave interior trim.
The Trofeo will be making its UK dynamic debut at next month's Goodwood Festival of Speed where it will complete runs up the event's famous hillclimb course.
Prices start at £124,900 for the Trofeo and £159,900 for the Trofeo Launch Edition.

The GTS (above) meanwhile packs the same 3.8-litre V8, this time developing 530 bhp. There's different styling tweaks on the outside, with a subtly adjusted lower front fascia and rear bumper to give it a more aggressive appearance.
The GTS is priced from £104,900.
