Honda Brio unveiled

Honda has unveiled the new Brio, which is specifically designed for emerging markets such as India, Thailand, and China.

Looking virtually identical to last year's prototype, the production model resembles a pint-sized Fit that measures 3,610mm long, 1,680mm wide and 1,475mm tall. Inside, the cabin is pretty basic but offers a pleasing design and high quality materials.

Power is provided by a 1.2-liter i-VTEC four-cylinder engine which develops 90 PS (66 kW / 89 hp) and returns an average fuel consumption of approximately 5.0 L/100km (47 mpg US).

The Thai-spec model, seen here, will go on sale in late May and pricing starts at 390,000 baht ($12,862 / €9,155). If everything goes according to plan, Honda expects to sell 40,000 Brios annually in the Thai market.
