Renault 5 is Car of the Year 2025
The Renault 5 E-Tech won the title of Car of the Year 2025 ahead of the Kia EV3 and Citroen C3. Seventh place goes to the Alfa Romeo Junior
The Renault 5 has just been voted Car of the Year 2025. The announcement was made during the Brussels Motor Show and sees the 'retro' compact French electric car prevail over its competitors by significant numbers, beating the Kia EV3 and the Cupra Terramar, second and third respectively.
The Renault 5, whose votes also include those of the sporty Alpine A290, thus repeats Renault's success of last year when it triumphed with the Scenic and continues the trend of electric winners.
