The electric revolution continues at Abarth. The House of the Scorpion presented the 600e, its most powerful model, which in the coming weeks will join the 500e.

In the course of 2025, however, we will be able to find out more about the upcoming models, which will also be exclusively battery-powered.

Launched in recent weeks, the Abarth 600e will go into full production in early 2025. It can already be ordered and configured on the official website, with starting prices of €42,950 (approx. £35,600) in Italy for the 240 PS Turismo version, which is not offered in UK. However, the 280 PS Scorpionissima is indeed available in the UK starting at £41,975.

The Scorpionissima sprints from 0 to 62 mph in 5.85 seconds, while in both cases the battery is 54 kWh, with a declared maximum range of 208 miles in the WLTP cycle for the less powerful Turismo version and 200 miles for the Scorpionissima.

The next Abarth model

Having said the 600e, it is likely that Abarth will present a new model in the near future. It is certainly banal to think so, but less banal is to imagine what the Scorpion's next electric sports car will be.

What do you think?

The company could focus on a new version of the 500e (perhaps more powerful and performance-oriented) or it could look to a completely new model. Indeed, in a recent interview with Autocar, Abarth Europe manager Gaetano Thorel did not rule out a possible sporty treatment dedicated to the Giga Panda. In general, it is possible that the next Abarth will be born from one of the models in the future Panda 'family'.

All that remains is to wait until 2025 to find out more information and to understand what the Scorpion brand's next steps will be.
