BMW M3 Touring from Manhart is more powerful than a Ferrari 12Cilindri
Massive power increase also brings four-digit torque.
Over the last two years or so, we have presented many optimisation proposals for the BMW M3 Touring on this site, but if we are not mistaken, none of them have been as radical as the new MH3 800 from Manhart. Well, at least in terms of performance. The tuner from North Rhine-Westphalia promises 855 bhp and 1,090 Nm. Phew ...
So far, Manhart has offered us several variants of the M3 estate with 650 hbp. Just as a reminder, the standard output of the S58 biturbo six-cylinder engine is currently 530 bhp and 650 Nm of maximum torque. The tuner explains in detail how the new leap in performance, which is more of a long-distance performance flight, is achieved. In addition to reprogramming the engine electronics, it is above all extensive hardware optimisations that turn the M3 Touring into an output monster.

New, forged pistons and connecting rods work in the cylinders. There is also an intercooler from Wagner Tuning, an in-house carbon intake and a flap stainless steel exhaust system from Remus. The latter is combined with the company's own downpipes and 200-cell catalytic converters. However, the good bits come - you guessed it - without the blessing of the TÜV. The same applies to the OPF-Delete replacement pipes.
To ensure that the standard 8-speed automatic gearbox doesn't simply melt away from all the new power, it has also been tackled and reinforced. According to Manhart, it can now manage up to 1,300 Nm of torque. This is interesting because the tuner actually has two even higher power levels up its sleeve.
Nothing has been done to the brakes, but the original ceramic discs should be more than sufficient. The suspension relies on height-adjustable coil springs from H&R and an additional carbon fibre strut brace. You can also see very gold-coloured wheels in the pictures. These are from Raffa, fitted in the dimensions 10.5x20 inch at the front and 11.5x21 inch at the rear. Tyres in 285/30 and 305/25 are also available.
For the beautiful body of the most practical M3, Manhart installs a kit with carbon fibre add-on parts, including radiator grille kidneys, a front spoiler, a two-piece apron attachment, and a bonnet. The side section is given attached side louvres on the front wings and sills. At the rear, side skirt extensions and a carbon boot spoiler round off the package.
