Toyota has announced fuel economy and pricing in Germany for the 2012 Toyota Yaris Hybrid. Priced at 16,950 euros, the Yaris Hybrid is the least expensive hybrid model in Germany.
On the eve of its debut at the Geneva Motor Show, Toyota has announced fuel economy and pricing in Germany for the 2012 Toyota Yaris Hybrid. Priced at 16,950 euros, the Yaris Hybrid is the least expensive hybrid model in Germany. It is also the first B-segment vehicle with a full hybrid drive.
The Yaris hybrid drive features a 1.5-liter VVT-i petrol engine, electric motor and a continuously variable automatic transmission which develops 100PS (98hp/73kW). Fuel consumption is 3.5 liters/100km and a CO2 emissions of 79g/km. The Yaris Hybrid the most fuel efficient vehicle with a combustion engine on the German market.
The entry-level Yaris Hybrid comes standard with dual-zone climate control, a height-adjustable driver seat, power mirrors, central locking, electric front windows and a height and reach-adjustable steering wheel. Also standard is electronic stability control, LED daytime running lights, seven airbags including knee airbag for the driver.
The middle trim line "Life" is available for 17,900 eruos and adds Toyota Touch multi-media audio system with 6.1-inch color touch screen, ECO-Drive monitor, rearview camera, Bluetooth kit, steering wheel controls, auxiliary input and USB port with iPod control. It also includes leather steering wheel and shift knob, a two-way adjustable luggage compartment floor and rear LED lights.
The top of the range "Club" trim level includes 16-inch alloy wheel option, engine start/stop, fog lights, roof spoiler, heated mirrors, electric rear windows, glove compartment with cooling function and a height adjustment for the front passenger seat. The top model is priced at 19,200 euros.
The 2012 Toyota Yaris Hybrid is available for order starting on June 16 in Germany.
