The new Audi A7 Sportback is a gorgeous car already. You can love or hate the coupe-like styling; however, it’s difficult to argue with the svelte design of the new 2019 model. And these glamour shots from ABT Sportsline don’t help either.

The latest creation from the tuner is more about the wheels than anything else. While there are some performance upgrades – which we’ll get to in a moment – the highlight of this A7 Sportback by ABT is the wheel selection, which ranges from massive 20-inch rims to gargantuan 22-inch wheels that look bold in tucked under the aggressive wheel arches.

Check Out More From ABT Sportsline:

The alloy wheels measure nine to 10 inches across depending on the rim size, with 10-inch wide wheels only available with the 22-inch rims. ABT offers the wheels in various flavors of black, including mystic, matte, and glossy/matte. The selection isn’t large, but they do look good tucked under the A7.

This A7 Sportback comes with a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine – badged as 55 TFSI  producing 340 horsepower (250 kilowatts) and 369 pound-feet (500 Newton-meters) of torque out of the box. However, with the addition of the ABT Engine Control unit, the A7 gets a modest power increase – 25 percent bump in horsepower and 10 percent more torque. With the AEC unit, the A7 now produces 425 hp (313 kW) and 405 lb-ft (550 Nm) of torque. The company is working on a similar upgrade for the diesel-powered Audi A7.

ABT goes to great lengths to ensure dependability and reliability when it creates a new tune. Any changes the AEC makes to the engine will retain all factory engine protection measures. To guarantee satisfaction, ABT covers the standard warranty while offering a warranty extension of up to 36 months.

Not every aftermarket tuning company needs wild fender flares, crazy interiors, or slammed suspensions to make a statement. Sometimes all you need is some new wheels and a bump in power.

Number 55 extra-strong: ABT Audi A7 3.0 TFSI with 425 HP and 22 inch wheels

ABT Sportsline offers pure magic in numbers for the new Audi A7 (C8): On the production model, the designation "55" indicates the 3-liter six-cylinder TFSI with 340 HP (250 kW). But with the ABT Engine Control (AEC) unit developed in-house, the Bavarian tuner now draws a commanding 425 HP (313 kW) from the internal combustion engine. Which is a solid increase of 25 percent. That this also produces a torque increase of 10 percent is another positive side effect: The maximum is now 550 Nm instead of 500 Nm. For sporty drivers going on longer journeys, ABT Sportsline is already working on a similar upgrade for the 3.0 liter TDI.

To offer maximum reliability, the German company focuses on high quality engineering and extensive testing for their power boosts: Any changes will still retain all the engine protection measures put in place by the factory. ABT Sportsline goes even further and offers numerous other safety features. In addition, the optimization is not achieved with a simple characteristic curve, but rather with a three-dimensional mapping to precisely cover all eventualities and parameters. Of course ABT Sportsline also covers the standard warranty and even offers a warranty extension for up to 36 months.

Those who want to further highlight the dynamic lines of the A7 with striking alloy wheels can choose between different models, sizes and surfaces from ABT. The ABT FR and GR designs, for example, have an impressive maximum size of 22 inches: the perfect look for a great impression.
