Hollywood loves to go for the jugular when it comes to cool and amazing cars. By that, we mean fantastic machines built solely for cinematic purposes that the average – or even above average – person could never hope to drive, never mind own. Sometimes we get lucky with a superstar ride based on an everyday car we can convert, like the DeLorean from Back to the Future. As for the rest, it’s just empty bags of popcorn and wistful dreams.

It got us thinking about some of the cool vehicles from Hollywood we could never hope to have. Sure, you can make anything with enough money, but realistically speaking these machines – whether they’re one-off manufacturer concept cars or scratch-built Frankenstein creations – are forbidden fruit no matter how much you want it. Mostly anyway; there is one car on this list you can put in your garage, and it's even affordable.
