Three years after its European debut, the Nissan Qashqai gets a technical update focused entirely on efficiency, quietness, and technology. At the heart of the evolution is the new generation of the e-POWER hybrid system, now more capable and able to deliver more than 1,200 km of range on a full tank of gasoline, according to the WLTP cycle. Thanks to an average fuel consumption of 52.3 mpg and emissions reduced to 102 g/km, the new 5-in-1 powertrain also improves cabin quietness, bringing it closer to that of an electric car. Its debut is expected after the summer. Among the new features are Google built into the infotainment system, more precise driver assistance, and extended maintenance intervals every 12,500 miles.
