As America approaches its 250th anniversary, American automakers are embracing patriotism, with Ford leading the charge by introducing a new visual upgrade package for its Super Duty pickup. This package, named “Proud to Honor,” is described by Ford as a bold, factory-backed tribute to American grit, designed to stand out both on the jobsite and the open highway. The package is a limited edition, though Ford has not specified the exact number of units available.
The “Proud to Honor” package, developed by Ford Custom Garage, is purely a visual enhancement and is exclusively available with black exterior paint. A standout feature is the red, white, and blue American flag graphic on the side, reminiscent of a nightly news intro. Depending on the truck’s configuration, the package includes black wheels, such as 19.5-inch forged aluminum wheels on dual-rear-wheel models, along with darkened exterior trim.
This patriotic package is available for the 2027 F-250, F-350, and F-450 models across various trims, including XL, XLT, King Ranch, and Platinum, but not on the Platinum Plus trim. It can be added to trucks equipped with the Tremor Off-Road Package and XLT and Lariat models with the Black Appearance Package. Orders for the 2027 F-250 are open now, with order books for the F-350 and F-450 to follow later this year. Pricing details and a three-year, 36,000-mile supplemental warranty will be announced by Ford at a later date.
