Mercedes-Benz is preparing to launch its new “extreme” AMG coupe, the second model from its ultra-luxury Mythos sub-brand. Initially teased in January, recent photos reveal a design distinct from the previous version. The coupe boasts more aggressive aerodynamics, featuring a prominent Panamericana grille that extends from the hood to the lower diffuser, flanked by large intakes. The license plate frame seems barely attached, enhancing the car’s bold appearance.

The coupe’s design includes even wider fenders, accommodating front fender vents and openings beside the headlights. At the rear, the CLE-based coupe showcases an updated diffuser, replacing AMG’s iconic quad exhaust pipes with two large openings in the bumper. Additionally, the car is equipped with an adjustable rear wing and fender vents behind the rear wheels, contributing to its sporty and dynamic look.

Inside, the coupe is expected to have aggressive front seats and additional bracing, complementing its exterior design. Under the hood, the car is anticipated to feature Mercedes-Benz’s new twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter flat-plane-crank V8 engine, potentially delivering up to 650 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. This combination of design and performance features positions the coupe as a standout model in the AMG lineup.
