Life-sized Porsche 934 sculpture sells for a staggering £201,000 in the UK
That's more than what a mint 930-series 911 Turbo costs.
A life-sized wireframe sculpture of the iconic Porsche 934 has fetched a staggering £201,000 at auction. This isn't your typical garage centrepiece – it's a masterpiece crafted by London-based artist Benedict Radcliffe, known for his unique automotive sculptures.
The auction, hosted by Collecting Cars, saw a flurry of activity with 218 bids and over 6,000 views during its seven-day run. The winning bid came from a collector in Asia. To put the sale into perspective, the final price is more than triple that of a classic 930-series 911 Turbo.

"The Porsche 934, in its Jägermeister livery, is one of the most iconic racing cars of its type, and this sale of the sculpture that it evokes, is one that will go down in the history books. It’s proof of the breadth of automobilia available on Collecting Cars and the power of our community and bidders on the platform. We can’t wait to see the sculpture in situ with our client in Asia – it’s going to be a great talking piece," Edward Lovett, Founder and CEO of Collecting Cars, commented.
Radcliffe's hand-crafted wireframe sculpture is a meticulous homage to the legendary Porsche 934 racing car, capturing the essence of its design in stunning detail. First unveiled at the 2022 Milan Design Week, the sculpture was showcased at the prestigious Larusmiani store on Via Monte Napoleone. It later travelled to Beijing and Shanghai, where it was exhibited in collaboration with Porsche China, further solidifying its international acclaim.
