Skoda launches sportiest Superb in the UK priced at £42,290
It comes with an available 2.0-litre turbo engine with 265 PS.
Skoda has just dropped a new addition to its UK lineup – the new Superb SportLine that joins the new generation model’s range. This sporty family car is sliding into the lineup between the SE L and L&K trims, flaunting a price tag starting at £42,290. It’s already available to order in the UK and full pricing is listed below.
One glance, and you’ll know this is no ordinary Superb. The SportLine sports a bold design with plenty of gloss black detailing – grille surround, door mirrors, window frames, and even its unique bumpers have been decked out. Estate models get a bonus with black roof rails, while the hatch struts a subtle gloss black strip on its tailgate diffuser.

As if that weren’t enough, the 19-inch Torcular polished black alloys and bespoke SportLine badging make sure you don’t confuse it with its tamer siblings. And yes, the black Skoda lettering on the tailgate is the cherry on top of this shiny package.
Step inside, and it’s all about sporty vibes with a touch of premium comfort. Those new front sport seats? They come with integrated headrests, heating, massage functions, and even electric controls. The cabin also doesn’t skimp on flair: a black headliner, leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, and aluminium pedal covers add to the athletic vibe.

You’ve got two 2.0 TDI options, maxing out at 193 PS, and yes, 4x4 is on the menu here too. For those looking for something more balanced, the entire Superb range in the UK can be now had with a new 2.0-litre TSI, offering 204 PS. And if you’re into plug-in hybrids, there’s a 1.5 TSI engine with a 147 PS electric motor.
More importantly, Skoda didn’t just slap a sporty badge on this model. The new Superb SportLine is engineered to deliver with a specially tuned sports chassis that drops the ride height by 15 mm, while progressive steering promises agility and precision. Dynamic chassis control plus (DCC) ensures this ride is smooth when you want it to be and sharp when you need it.
