Omoda 7: First interior photos before debut
The Chinese brand's new mid-size SUV will be unveiled in 2025 with a high-tech and spacious interior
TheOmoda 7 is the Chery Group's new mid-size SUV, marketed in Europe under the Omoda brand. It is scheduled to debut in the Old Continent including the UK in 2025, at a date yet to be determined, but in the meantime, the company has taken the wraps off the first images of the interior.
The interior, unlike anything seen on the company's cars to date, was developed with the collaboration of more than 400,000 global users, who took part in a survey and gave their opinion.
An intelligent and functional cockpit
Looking at the first photos released by the company regarding the cabin of the new Omoda 7, the first element that stands out on the dashboard is certainly the new infotainment system with a 15.6-inch sliding screen, whose processor uses a gesture recognition algorithm and a multi-touch system, which allow access to vehicle functions with simple finger movements.

The interface design, according to Omoda, is designed to simplify the use of the vehicle's various functions, which are organised in tabs, making access to music, videos and other multimedia content immediate.
Finally, the four-zone voice control is designed to allow separate voice commands for driver and passengers, improving interaction with the car.

Comfort and silence at the heart of the experience
According to the company's explanation at this early stage, the seats have also been completely redesigned in comparison to the company's other cars and equipped with customisable massage, ventilation and heating functions and regulated by sensors to ensure the best possible ergonomics.
Along with this, the car has also been equipped with a special engine noise reduction technology, which captures sound waves at the source with the help of high-precision sensors located in the engine compartment, to reduce vibrations by 30 per cent and lower noise by up to 10 decibels.
As anticipated, the car will arrive in Europe and later in the UK during 2025. Prices for our market have not yet been announced.
