New Pagani Utopia with Zonda Cinque livery spotted
This new Pagani echoes a recent iconic moment in Pagani’s history.
While Pagani is one of the most recently introduced names to the Italian automotive industry and to the global supercar stage, it is already one of the most respected and iconic, with 25 years worth of history-making cars with incredible performance, groundbreaking innovation, stunning design, and admirable craftsmanship. Its latest creation is the Utopia, the third in the trilogy of Pagani supercars, starting with the Zonda, and continuing with the Huayra.
The new Utopia shows off Pagani’s future and simultaneously celebrates its own history as well as automotive history in general, with classic elements like beautiful leather strap details and an available manual transmission, as well as the extensive use of carbon fibre and a fiercely powerful twin-turbocharged V12 engine. However, this specific example of one of the 99 Pagani Utopia coupes, spotted leaving Pagani’s Modena, Italy headquarters and factory, pays homage to an iconic moment in recent memory.
One of the rarest examples of the Pagani Zonda was the Cinque, a version of the Zonda finished in white with accents in red and contrasting exposed carbon fibre. Captured by YouTuber Varryx, this new Utopia echoes that same spec, with bright white across the sides set against dark exposed carbon fibre and a vivid red centre stripe.
Pagani enthusiasts are sure to instantly recognise it as an homage to the Zonda Cinque, and it’s possible that its owner is also the owner of one of the 5 Zonda Cinques or the 5 Zonda Cinque Roadsters that were made, and got a beautiful matching spec of the Utopia to make for a perfect garage pair. Either way, Pagani fans worldwide will be excited to see this reference to recent and important Pagani history.
