It was just over a week a go that Fisker announced they will be unveiling a second model at the new York Auto Show. The Fisker Nina was teased with a very basic sketch that revealed the profile of the model, but all surprises have now been shelved after our spies managed to catch these first pictures.

The Nina will be smaller than the Karma and will reportedly act as its entry level model. It will use a powertrain that consists of an electric motor that works alongside a range-extending BMW-sourced four-cylinder engine.

Fisker is targeting a price range of between $50,000 and $60,000 (before tax incentives) and it will likely be launched during 2013 or 2014 as long as the company does not counter any further financing issues.
