2017 Mercedes-Benz E300 | Why Buy?
Is the revamped E-Class actually the best, or nothing?
– Detroit, Michigan
The Mercedes-Benz E300 is all new for 2017, and it shows. The technology in the car stands out to such a degree that it tends to dominate recent conversations about midsize luxury cars. From the obvious – the all-digital sweep of the instrument cluster into the infotainment screen – to subtler bits like the damn-useful, touch-capacitive thumb switches on the steering wheel, this E oozes techy appeal.
As you might expect with one of Mercedes’ bread-and-butter products, the driving experience has been well-sorted, too. This is every bit the luxury car, quiet and smooth just about everywhere, but with a hint of athleticism that may just convince the odd erstwhile BMW fan, too.
Join us as we dive deep into the new E-Class, picking a few nits with the car in between a generous helping of well-earned praise. As always, you can find our full list of Why Buy? videos at our YouTube channel (there’s a new one every Thursday), and we heartily encourage you to subscribe, if you haven’t already, so as to be alerted to the newest content as soon as it’s uploaded.
