Jeep is expanding the 2027 Grand Cherokee lineup by reintroducing the Overland and Trailhawk trims, which were not available in the 2026 model. The Trailhawk is designed for off-road enthusiasts, featuring Jeep’s Quadra-Trac II 4x4 system, Selec-Terrain traction control with a rock mode, and Quadra-Lift air suspension. It also includes a rear electronic limited-slip differential, 30.5-inch Goodyear Wrangler Territory All-Terrain tires, and six high-strength steel skid plates to protect its robust hardware, including a turbocharged 2.0-liter Hurricane 4 Turbo engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Trailhawk boasts 11.4 inches of ground clearance and impressive approach and departure angles, enhancing its off-road capabilities.

The 2027 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk is equipped with a revised fascia for improved approach angles, red tow hooks, a matte-black hood decal, and 18-inch wheels. Inside, it offers black Nappa leather seats with red stitching, providing a blend of comfort and style. Meanwhile, the Grand Cherokee Overland is positioned as the “premium off-road model,” featuring 21-inch wheels, bright tow hooks, a body-colored roof, and silver accents. It includes Nappa leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, and unique An-Teak satin chrome trim accents. The Overland also comes with the Quadra-Track II system, a two-speed transfer case, and the Quadra-Lift suspension, catering to those seeking a luxurious yet capable off-road experience.

Both the 2027 Grand Cherokee Overland and Trailhawk are set to go on sale later this year, with pricing details to be announced closer to their launch. The 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee lineup starts at $40,915 for the entry-level Laredo and reaches $62,595 for the Summit model. The expansion of the 2027 lineup with the Overland and Trailhawk trims aims to cater to a broader range of customers, offering enhanced off-road capabilities and premium features across different price points.
