Ford Motor Company has teamed up with Filson to create the Bronco Filson, a special outdoor-oriented version of the Bronco. This new model, set to go on sale early next year, features the powerful Bronco Raptor engine and comes standard with the Sasquatch Package, including 35-inch tires, front and rear locking differentials, and high-performance Fox shocks. The engine is Ford’s twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6, delivering 418 horsepower and 440 pound-feet of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
The Bronco Filson’s upgrades are primarily visual, with a unique front grille finish, Bronco lettering, painted mirror caps and wheel arches, and exclusive trail sights. Inside, it boasts the quietest cabin of any Bronco, achieved through improved airflow, acoustic glass, and enhanced seals to reduce noise. The SUV also includes Filson-inspired storage bags integrated into the doors and optional ones for the cargo areas, which are detachable and suitable for storing various items like first-aid kits and camera lenses.
Additional features of the Bronco Filson include a digital rearview mirror with a washer, power-deployed running boards, and ventilated front seats, which are new to the Bronco lineup. Standard features also include heated rear seats and an upgraded B&O audio system. Ford is launching a limited Bronco Filson First Edition with exclusive Iron Sands Copper Metallic paint, a unique fender badge, cargo area storage bags, and a serialized console bag. Order books will open this fall, with the SUV expected to arrive in showrooms early next year, though pricing details have not been disclosed.
