Ram CEO Tim Kuniskis is introducing the Ram 1500 Rumble Bee, aiming to transform the street truck into a new standard for muscle performance. Unlike previous models with a single extreme variant, the Rumble Bee will be available in multiple versions, starting with the top-tier Rumble Bee SRT. This model features the same 777-horsepower supercharged 6.2-liter Hellcat Hemi V8 engine as the TRX, capable of accelerating from zero to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds and completing a quarter-mile in 11.6 seconds. The SRT is expected to reach a top speed of 170 mph, surpassing the 154.587-mph record set by the Dodge Ram SR10 two decades ago.

In addition to the SRT, Ram will offer three other variants: the standard Rumble Bee, the Rumble Bee 392, and the Rumble Bee 392 Track Pack. The standard model is equipped with a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 engine, known as the “Eagle,” producing 395 hp and 410 lb-ft of torque, while the 392 features a 6.4-liter “Apache” engine with 470 hp and 455 lb-ft of torque. All Rumble Bee models come with a Borg-Warner 48-11 transfer case and an optional asymmetrical limited-slip differential. The 392 Track Pack includes E-Spool technology for drag race starts and burnouts, and despite its performance features, the truck can tow up to 8,890 pounds and has a 1,160-lb payload capacity.

The Rumble Bee boasts a unique design with a shorter length and wider stance, enhancing its rigidity and stability. It features a new front fascia, massive tires, and a large spoiler on the tailgate, contributing to a 0.357 drag coefficient. Inside, the truck includes Rumble Bee branding, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and a premium Harman Kardon sound system. The 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee will be available in late 2026, with the Rumble Bee 392 and SRT launching in the first half of 2027. While pricing details have not been released, the SRT is expected to cost around $102,290, similar to the 2027 TRX, with the standard and 392 models being more affordable and anticipated to drive most sales.
