Maserati Levante gets new petrol engine option
Unlock some performance magic with Maserati's new 3-litre V6.
Maserati’s Levante SUV now comes with a petrol option, a year after the car was launched in the UK powered by a 3-litre V6 diesel motor.
The Levante S is now available with V6 petrol for those who prefer to drink from the green pump – it’s priced from £70,755 on the road.
The twin-turbo unit produces 430bhp and does the 0-62mph run in 5.2sec and on to a top speed of 162mph.
The eight-speed automatic transmission has been designed to produce a smooth drive with gear shifts as smooth as Maserati engineers can manage them.
The Levante gets Highway Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Active Blind Spot Assist and Traffic Sign Recognition as standard, as well as Maserati’s all-wheel-drive system.
The new car comes in two trims – GranLusso and GranSport. The former comes with 19-inch wheels and a range of body-coloured touches, while the latter features larger 20-inch wheels, 12-way adjustable leather seats and fancy red brake callipers.
