2016 Land Rover Range Rover Sport Td6 | Why Buy?
Land Rover's new diesel V6 is right at home in the Range Rover Sport. We take a closer look in this week's Why Buy?
As far as luxury SUVs go, the Land Rover Range Rover Sport is one of the best. There is perhaps no other vehicle in its class that so perfectly blends the attributes of luxury and capability in a package that's also immensely functional and really nice to drive.
The big news for 2016 is that Land Rover now offers a turbodiesel V6 under the hood of its Range Rover Sport – the big-daddy Range Rover gets the same engine, too. It's not exactly an easy time to launch a diesel product here in the United States (thanks a lot, Volkswagen), but Land Rover's Td6 engine is certainly worth a look, especially so here in the Range Rover Sport.
In our latest Why Buy? video, we explore the daily livability of the excellent Range Rover Sport, with an added focus on how the diesel engine makes this already great SUV even better.
