Volkswagen Motorsport South Africa has built a spectacular Golf with nearly 1,000 hp to celebrate the brand's 75th anniversary in the country. Intended exclusively for hill climb competition, the car replaces the Golf GTI's classic four-cylinder with the famous Audi RS3 2.5-liter turbo five-cylinder, extensively modified with forged components, a larger turbocharger, and a carbon intake. Among its standout features is the exhaust exiting through the front bumper. The body adopts an extreme aerodynamic kit with widened fenders, a huge rear wing, and a dedicated diffuser. Completing the project are a reinforced all-wheel-drive system and an AP Racing braking system, turning the Golf into a true race car.
