Porsche has successfully sold its three Toy Story-themed cars to a single anonymous buyer, who has committed to donating $3 million to three charities: Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, the American Red Cross, and Starlight Children’s Foundation, with each organization receiving $1 million. The buyer, a Porsche collector and philanthropist, expressed enthusiasm for the project, highlighting the alignment between the unique cars and the charitable work benefiting children and families.
The Toy Story cars were crafted by Porsche’s Sonderwunsch department, which dedicated 350 hours to hand-painting each vehicle. The 911 GT3 with the Weissach Package is adorned with a Buzz Lightyear-inspired livery in white, green, and purple, complemented by purple and green accents in the cabin. This car stands out with its vibrant exterior and thematic interior design.
The second car, a 911 Targa 4 GTS, draws inspiration from Jessie and features a more understated exterior with blue rocker panels and yellow accents. Inside, the Targa boasts Dark Night Blue leather with red accents and cow-inspired floor mats, creating a striking contrast. The third car, a 911 Carrera T, embodies Woody with a denim-like finish achieved by pressing real denim into the wet paint. The interior reflects Woody’s theme with a checkered pattern and brown leather seats, offering a unique and personalized touch.
