The 2026 GT2 European Series powered by Pirelli will begin on May 30–31 at Monza’s Autodromo Nazionale, marking Maserati’s debut weekend. This event will not only focus on racing but also celebrate the launch of the new Maserati GT2 Stradale. The Stradale will be showcased in special liveries to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Trident logo and a century since Maserati’s first competitive appearance. These liveries, developed with the Maserati Fuoriserie personalization program, are inspired by the historic Maserati 250F, a legendary Formula 1 car from the 1950s.

The commemorative liveries will be featured on both a one-off Maserati GT2 race car and the Maserati GT2 Stradale, highlighting the connection between racing and road-going models. This legacy dates back to 1926 when the Maserati Tipo 26 won its class at the Targa Florio, becoming the first car to display the Trident logo. At Monza, Maserati will enter five GT2 cars across the Pro-Am, Silver, and Master classes, with LP Racing’s Philippe Prette, the Am champion for the past two seasons, defending his title in the No. 1 Maserati GT2.

Beyond the GT2 European Series, the GT2 Stradale will continue to play a significant role as the official Safety Car for the GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS for the second consecutive year. The Monza weekend will feature two free practice sessions, qualifying, and two 50-minute races, setting the stage for a season that will also include races at Spa-Francorchamps, Misano, Zandvoort, and Portimão.
