Photos - 2026 Car of the Year: the finalists

The Car of the Year 2026 awards ceremony will be held on January 9, 2026 at the Brussels Motor Show. The jurors, journalists from all over Europe, have drawn up the list of the 7 finalists that will compete for the title: Citroen C5 Aircross, Dacia Bigster, Fiat Grande Panda, Kia EV4, Mercedes CLA, Renault 4 and Skoda Elroq. Fiat thus returns to the inner circle after last winning the award in 2008 with the 500. Chinese cars, strongly represented in the list of candidates, have been excluded from the finalists. All the cars in the Car of the Year 2026 final are electric, with some also offering electrified or purely internal-combustion versions.
