The third-generation NC Mazda Miata, often less favored compared to its predecessors, is now available in a unique version that might change perceptions. A 2007 MX-5 Miata Sport is being auctioned on Bring-A-Trailer, featuring a body styled to resemble an Aston Martin, reminiscent of a collaboration with Zagato. This transformation includes a new front end with a grille and headlights, a restyled rear, and 16-inch knock-off wheels, while maintaining the original door skins.

Further enhancing the Aston Martin aesthetic, the car incorporates Lancia Flavia door handles, front fender vents, a hood scoop, and an Aston badge. Inside, Simpson Design from Clinton, Washington, has added a wood-rimmed Nardi steering wheel with the Aston logo, wood trim on the dashboard and center console, and fixed-back vinyl bucket seats, creating a luxurious yet sporty interior.

Mechanically, the Miata retains its original Mazda 2.0-liter MZR inline-four engine, delivering 166 horsepower and 140 pound-feet of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. With 26,000 miles on the odometer, the car is currently bidding at $20,500, with five days remaining in the auction, offering a chance to own a distinctive and stylish version of the NC Miata.
