The fifth-generation Toyota Land Cruiser is a capable off-roader, but some owners seek further enhancements through aftermarket modifications. Japan’s Kuhl Racing is showcasing a new Land Cruiser at the 2026 Tokyo Auto Salon, featuring the LC 250 Blocker Series Iron Build. This package includes various off-road upgrades, such as a 7.0-inch suspension lift kit that raises the ground clearance from 8.3 inches to 15.7 inches, enhancing its off-road prowess.
The enhanced ground clearance is complemented by 22-inch Verz DDR03 wheels wrapped in 37-inch Yokohama Geolander M/T G003 tires, which significantly boost the vehicle’s off-road capabilities. Kuhl describes the Land Cruiser as blending off-road power with sportiness and a distinctive presence. Additional protective features include front and rear bumper protectors, pipe fenders, and a skid plate. The vehicle also boasts a roof carrier, a 40-inch LED light bar, and two rear wings for added style and functionality.
While Kuhl does not mention any powertrain upgrades, the US version of the Land Cruiser is equipped with a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder hybrid engine, producing 326 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque, which is generally sufficient for most needs. The Iron Build Land Cruiser will be displayed alongside Kuhl’s GR86 Outroad, a coupe modified for off-road use, featuring a 3.0-inch suspension lift, skid plates, and larger tires, both of which will be on show at the 2026 Tokyo Auto Salon.
