Chrysler, known for pioneering the minivan segment 40 years ago, is now exploring the adventure vehicle market with the Chrysler Pacifica Grizzly Peak concept. This concept transforms the traditional family minivan into a rugged overlander, appealing to enthusiasts who see vans as versatile adventure vehicles. The Pacifica Grizzly Peak features all-wheel drive and numerous off-road upgrades, including suspension lifts, large all-terrain tires, and a protective lower body wrap.

The concept vehicle is equipped with several aftermarket overlanding accessories to enhance its capabilities. These include a Rhino-Rack roof storage rack, TYRI LED lighting, and a retractable ARB awning. Additional features such as Baja Designs LED fog lights, Arktos matte-finish paint, and Mopar splash guards further contribute to its rugged aesthetic. These modifications aim to make the Pacifica Grizzly Peak a formidable choice for outdoor adventures.

Inside, the Pacifica Grizzly Peak retains much of its original design but offers increased functionality. The third-row seats have been removed for a cargo floor panel, boosting storage space, and additional tie-downs have been added. The interior also boasts unique features like orange seat belts, dimple perforations on the steering wheel, Katzkin leather seats, and a distinctive color scheme. Chrysler’s CEO, Chris Feuell, expressed excitement about receiving feedback from van-life adventurers, and the concept was unveiled at the Overland Expo Mountain West, hinting at its potential future development.
