Although motorhome fever dies down somewhat during the winter months, there are still trips planned in motorhomes during this cold season, for example to go hiking and climbing in the mountains or skiing. Can you imagine such a adventure with this Dacia Sandman 4x4?

This isn't the first time we've shown you a digital recreation of this affordable two-axle camper van, but we think this is the ultimate Sandman, both in terms of design and off-road readiness, and we think it's irresistible!

The folks at AutomagzPro have computer-generated a rugged vehicle, with high ground clearance, special tyres (the spare wheel is hooked to the tailgate, like an off-roader), robust bumpers, body protection, side sills and even an air snorkel to get through high water.

Inside, the only thing that has been created is a dashboard with a modern look, but without giving up conventional controls, a layout that totally convinces us. Although we don't know how the cabin is laid out, we can imagine it with a double bed, a full galley, stationary heating and hot water.

In summer, the outdoor shower and awning would be perfect allies for keeping cool in hot weather. The sliding side doors and opening windows will also make life easier and ventilate the passenger compartment.

Tell us what you think!

As the Dacia Sandman 4x4 is an affordable camper van, all-wheel drive would be provided by a simple Haldex clutch that would automatically engage both axles in the event of a loss of grip. Of course, we'd love a diesel engine, such as the 115 PS 1.5-litre Blue dCi that the Romanian brand uses in its passenger cars and SUVs.

Unfortunately, Dacia has no plans to develop a dedicated camper van. So the only way to own a Dacia camper van is to buy one of the many preparations made by independent companies. One example is the Dokker, which you can see just above this paragraph.

We'll continue to highlight the Renault Group company with articles like this, as demand for affordable motorhomes continues to grow and even exponentially at certain times of the year. What a business Dacia is missing out on!
