Maserati is relaunching its presence in GT racing with Project GT4, unveiled at the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed and set to make its track debut in 2028. Developed by Maserati Corse based on the GranTurismo, it inherits the aluminum body and the 3-liter twin-turbo Nettuno V6 engine with pre-chamber combustion technology.

For racing use, it adopts rear-wheel drive, dedicated suspension, adjustable setup, specific aerodynamics, and weight savings of about 880 lb. The project also benefits from the experience of test driver Andrea Bertolini. The GT4 will join the GT2 and MCXtrema, expanding the Trident's motorsport program.

Presented in the brand's centennial year, it features a celebratory livery inspired by its racing history and the colors of Modena.
