Danish supercar manufacturer Zenvo is preparing to launch its latest supercar, the Aurora, with plans to unveil two validation prototypes at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The Aurora lineup includes the Tur, a grand touring variant, and the Agil, a track-focused version. Zenvo’s CEO and CTO, Jon Gunner, emphasized the team’s dedication to enhancing every aspect of the car, from its architecture and components to its V12 powertrain, sound, and driver experience. The Aurora is set to feature the most powerful V12 engine ever installed in a road car, developed in collaboration with Mahle Powertrains.
The Zenvo Aurora will be equipped with a quad-turbocharged 6.6-liter V12 engine, initially targeting 1,250 horsepower with a 9,800 rpm redline, before incorporating electrification. The car will be available in two trims: the Agil, a lightweight, road-legal track variant, and the Tur, which shares the same platform. The Agil will feature a hybridized seven-speed gearbox and a 200-horsepower e-motor, resulting in a total output of 1,450 horsepower. In contrast, the Tur will include two independent front-axle motors, boosting its output to 1,850 horsepower and providing all-wheel drive.
Performance-wise, the Tur is expected to accelerate from 0 to 62 miles per hour in 2.3 seconds and achieve a top speed of 260 mph, while the Agil will reach 62 mph in 2.5 seconds with a top speed of 224 mph. Zenvo plans to produce only 50 units of each variant, with deliveries anticipated to start next summer. This limited production run underscores the exclusivity and high-performance nature of the Aurora, catering to enthusiasts seeking a unique and powerful driving experience.
