At the 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans, Genesis debuted in the prestigious Hypercar category with the new GMR-001, developed by the Genesis Magma Racing team. Built to LMDh regulations, the car represents the Korean brand’s first endurance project and combines advanced hybrid technologies with a high-performance twin-turbo V8 engine. The design echoes Genesis’ styling identity through elegant lines, sculpted surfaces, and the signature double-line light signature. The GMR-001 is not only a race car, but also a technological and image manifesto for the Magma brand, the company’s new performance division. With this program, Genesis enters the elite of global endurance racing, challenging the leading manufacturers competing at Le Mans.
