The 60th Anniversary of the Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah, is set to showcase six new Jeep concepts, highlighting both current customization options and potential future features. The event, running from March 28 to April 5, attracts thousands of Jeep enthusiasts eager to see the latest innovations. Jeep will not be presenting a rugged version of the new hybrid Cherokee this year, but there is hope for its appearance next year.
Among the new concepts is the Jeep Wrangler Anvil 715, an overlanding vehicle with a 6.4-liter V8 engine producing 470 horsepower. It features a restyled front end inspired by 1960s SJ Jeeps, a custom roof with a skylight, and heavy-duty steel bumpers. The Wrangler Buzzcut stands out with its Vitamin C Orange and black exterior, enhanced with a Mopar cold air intake and a two-inch suspension lift. It retains the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, producing 270 horsepower.
The Jeep Grand Wagoneer Commander Concept emphasizes stealth and off-road capability, featuring 35-inch tires and a custom roof rack with integrated lighting. The Wrangler Laredo offers a simpler design with a 3.6-liter V6 engine and a six-speed manual transmission, complemented by a vinyl floor and durable cloth seats. The Jeep Gladiator Red Rock is equipped with JPP parts like beadlock wheels and a steel front bumper, while the Jeep Cherokee XJ Pioneer is a lightly modded 1984 model with custom wheels and carbon-fiber fender flares. Each concept reflects Jeep’s commitment to blending luxury, performance, and off-road capability.
