BMW is concluding the production of the Alpina XB7 with a special Manufaktur edition for the United States and Canada. This edition features BMW’s twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter S68 V8 engine, paired with an eight-speed Alpina Switch-Tronic transmission that includes a 48-volt integrated motor. The XB7 delivers an impressive 631 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque, allowing the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 3.9 seconds.
The special edition comes in two new colors, Frozen Alpina Green and Frozen Alpina Blue, and includes Shadowline high-gloss black exterior trim around the grille, windows, intakes, and tailpipes, along with unique badging. Standard features include twenty-three-inch Alpina Classic 20-spoked forged wheels. The interior is luxurious, with Alpina branding on the front headrests in either green or blue, Tartufo Full Merino leather, and Walnut Nature Black trim. Additional standard features include second-row captain’s chairs, a Bowers & Wilkins Diamond surround sound system, and two brown Lavalina leather weekender bags.
Production of the 2026 XB7 Manufaktur will commence in September, with deliveries expected in the fourth quarter. The SUV is priced at $181,550, including a $1,550 destination charge, which is double the starting price of the entry-level X7 at $90,000. This limited-run SUV will be manufactured at BMW’s Spartanburg, South Carolina, factory, where Alpina X7 production began in 2020, marking the first time an Alpina model was built outside Germany.
