The Ringbrothers Aston Martin “Octavia” is a radical restomod based on a 1971 DBS, unveiled at The Quail during Monterey Car Week. With over 12,000 hours invested, it’s their first Aston Martin build—and easily one of their most ambitious. Only the original power window switches were retained, as everything else was reimagined from the ground up.
Octavia’s body is a full carbon-fiber reinterpretation of the DBS, widened by up to 10 inches and lengthened in wheelbase. It rides on a custom Roadster Shop chassis with high-end Fox coilovers and massive Brembo brakes. Under the hood is a 5.0-liter Ford Coyote V8 with a 2.65-liter supercharger, putting out a jaw-dropping 805 horsepower.
The design pays cheeky homage to the James Bond universe, with touches like “Aston Martini” valve covers and a dipstick shaped like a martini glass. The custom wheels, Double-O Silver paint, and retro-futuristic lighting add to the 007 flair, blending vintage style with modern aggression.
Inside, Octavia features tan pleated leather, carbon fiber, billet trim, and 3D-printed components, creating a cabin that feels both luxurious and cutting-edge. Tech highlights include a Gentex 180° rearview mirror, dimmable visors, and Bluetooth-controlled ambient lighting—making this one of the most sophisticated interiors Ringbrothers has ever built.
