Mercedes-AMG has taken the wraps off the new Sprinter 63 S.
Designed to haul more than just cargo, the high-performance van is based on the Sprinter Kombi and features an aggressive front fascia with a single bar grille and a sporty lower air intake. Moving further back, we can see attractive alloy wheels and a rear diffuser which is flanked by a four-tailpipe sports exhaust system.
Power is provided by a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine that develops 503 bhp (375 kW) and 516 lb-ft (698 Nm) of torque. Mercedes declined to release detailed performance specifications but the van should easily outrun the standard model.
The Sprinter 63 S will officially be unveiled on April Fool's Day, so stay tuned for full details.
