Based on the V40, the model is distinguished by a revised front bumper with new fog lights. There's also plastic body cladding, aluminum accents and an increased ride height.
Engine options will likely carryover, so expect a variety of petrols with outputs ranging from 150 PS (110 kW / 148 hp) to 254 PS (186 kW / 250 hp). On the diesel side, there should be several choices producing between 115 PS (84 kW / 113 hp) and 177 PS (130 kW / 174 hp). Front-wheel drive could be standard, but all-wheel drive should be optional.
The Volvo XC40 is expected to be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show, so stay tuned for more details.
