Aston Martin has unveiled the DB12 S, a new halo model that joins the DBX S and Vantage S in its lineup, as part of CEO Adrian Hallmark’s strategy to expand model variants.

The DB12 S boasts enhancements that promise an exhilarating driving experience, including a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 engine that now produces 691 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. These upgrades, along with quicker shifts and improved launch control, reduce the coupe’s 0-60 mph time to 3.4 seconds, while the DB12 S Volante achieves it in 3.5 seconds, with a top speed of 202 mph.

The DB12 S is equipped with standard carbon ceramic brakes, saving 59.5 pounds of unsprung weight, and features a next-generation corner braking control system. Unique to the DB12 S are recalibrated throttle and steering, adjusted Bilstein DTX dampers, and an enhanced electronic rear differential.

Aston engineers have also stiffened the rear anti-roll bars and fine-tuned the camber, castor, and toe geometry for better handling. Visually, the DB12 S distinguishes itself with a dual-element front splitter, new bonnet louvers, a fixed rear spoiler, a new rear diffuser, and four stacked stainless-steel tailpipes, with an optional titanium exhaust system.

Inside, the DB12 S features a red knurled metal drive mode rotary dial and is available in three interior trim configurations with leather and Alcantara. The model can be ordered in coupe and convertible versions, with deliveries expected in the first quarter of 2026. While Aston Martin has not disclosed the pricing, the regular DB12 starts at $250,000, suggesting the DB12 S could exceed $275,000.
