RTR Vehicles has unveiled its latest creation, the Mustang RTR Spec 5. This seventh-generation Mustang is equipped with a 5.0-liter Coyote V-8 engine, enhanced by a 3.0-liter Whipple Stage 2 Supercharger, an HD Race intercooler, and a cat-back exhaust. These modifications boost the vehicle’s output to over 870 horsepower and 660 pound-feet of torque, surpassing Ford’s GTD, the most powerful Mustang to date. The Spec 5 also boasts a lowered suspension with a Tactical Performance setup, featuring 30-way adjustable coilovers and dampers, height-adjustable springs, and adjustable sway bars.

The Mustang RTR Spec 5 is notable for being RTR’s first vehicle with a complete body kit, including composite front and rear fenders, rocker panels, and bumper extensions. Carbon-fiber enhancements such as front and rear splitters, wake towers, and various visual upgrades like LED intakes and a decklid spoiler are also present. The vehicle rides on Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires mounted on 20-inch RTR Aero 5 Evo forged wheels, with Brembo brakes providing stopping power. Inside, the Spec 5 offers Recaro sport seats, an Electronic Drift Brake, a dash plaque signed by Vaughn Gittin Jr, and an RTR Performance shift knob.

RTR Vehicles plans to produce only 50 units of the Mustang RTR Spec 5 for the 2026 model year, each starting at $159,999. This price includes the base seventh-generation Mustang GT with the 401A Group and Performance Package. Customers can choose between a six-speed manual or a 10-speed automatic transmission, allowing for a personalized driving experience.
